The Ruth Powell Hutchins Water Center at Colorado Mesa University brings together research, education, and dialogue to address critical water issues in Western Colorado and the Upper Colorado River Basin, where growing demands challenge ecosystems and communities alike. Located at the confluence of two vital rivers, the Water Center convenes students, faculty regional partners and local communities to generate knowledge, cultivate future leaders and foster informed, collaborative solutions for the region's water future.
