Bridging the Gap in STEM: Invest in SHPE
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at Colorado Mesa University is dedicated to empowering Hispanic students in STEM through career development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. One of our most important initiatives is attending the SHPE National Convention, the largest gathering of Hispanic STEM professionals, which will be held in Philadelphia this year. This convention is a life-changing opportunity for our members, offering access to top industry recruiters, technical workshops, career coaching, and professional networking, all of which help our students secure internships and full-time job opportunities.
The cost of attending, including travel, lodging, and registration fees, can be a major challenge. Each year, we dedicate a tremendous amount of time to fundraising so we can send as many students as possible, but we still need additional support.
Your donation would directly fund our efforts to send more students to this transformative event, helping them gain the skills, connections, and confidence needed to succeed in STEM fields. By supporting SHPE, you are not only helping individual students but also contributing to a stronger, more diverse STEM workforce for the future.
